PRODUCERS ORGANISATION & FARMERS INTERSET GROUP

1. Forming Farmer Organization :-

During 2012-13 a very important decision related to FO was taken AT Agriculture department and NGOs meeting. It was agreed to do the work in phase manner.

• *phase I: - Identifying weak progressive farmers.
• **phase II: - Combining the farmers in FIG
• ***phase III: - Converting FIG into farmers organization

We have been working with Ag. Department for more than 10 years and had always tried to provide our best effort in competing the targets provided to us.

During 2011-12 and 201-13 we had formed about 75 FIG in different sub sector of agriculture like:-

• Crop production – wheat, Bajra,
• Plus crop production – gram, moth
• Oilseeds production – ground nut
• Medicinal plants – Sonmukhi, Alovera etc.
• Fruits & vegetable Production – Ber, Tinda, Date palm, Annar, citrus.
• Animal Husbandry – Milk Production & wool Production

We are Provident you a few names of these FIGs along with their group category and place/location.

It would be great support for us if we could became RI for formation of FPO particularly in North West Rajasthan. We have got enough potential to do the job effectively in stipulated time period. In the following paragraphs we had given a brief information about our potentiality with a hope that it shall prove our competency as a strong, active and Potential RI.
