Navyug Vikas & Anusandhan Sansthan has been working non-stop year after year making sure that the schemes or benefits reach the maximum number of farmers. Navyug Vikas & Anusandhan Sansthan with the assistance of ATMA has organized various programs in 2013-14 and exposure visits were one of them.
This program involves learning through on-field teaching. Exposure visits enable farmers from different regions to interact with and learn from each other, allowing them to view practical examples of successful integration of sustainable practices in farming communities like their own. Exposure visits are conducted at various research institutes which provide live demo for a particular topic or subject on agriculture.
The experts available at the research institutes are mainly agriculture expert, animal husbandry expert, organic farming expert, water management expert who provided detailed insight on the subject matter. We conducted total two exposure visits in 2013-14 and each exposure visit was for 5 days. The common features of those exposure visits are:
In the month of Jan-Feb 2013, 7 days Exposure visit of 50 Progressive women farmers was organized, under ATMA project.
The group of 50 Progressive women farmers by selecting 2 or 3 women's farmers of some leading village Panchayats of Each assigned Block of Bikaner District. Motive was that group should represent the whole District in true sense. Group visited KVK and ARS at different location within the state, and learned modern agricultural technologies, both in class Rooms as well as Research fields.
