KRISHAK MITRA TRAINING AND CAPACITY BUILDING

KISAN MITRA or farmer friend is, a progressive farmer, working as a strong link between common farmer and scientists in our country. No doubt that In States like GUJRAT and MAHARASTRA KISAN.

Day 01	Arrival and introduction session basic information viz., agri. management, resource management and better production management
Day 02	Objectives of formation of Kisan Mitra Importance of Group in present scenario Innovative schemes OF Small Farmers' Agribusiness Consortium fo farmers of our country[SFAC] vegetable production in desert condition grass-based agriculture in un irrigated area
Day 03	Training cum Workshop on Kisan Mitra's responsibility Exposure-Field visit @ARS and KVK Fruit and vegetable production in desert condition grass-based agriculture in un irrigated area
Day 04	Exposure-Field visit @VETENARY UNIV. and NURSERY Learning while playing- team work what to do in any emergency like snake bite or poisoning

MITRAS are exporting quality agro products to rest of the world and fetching handsome return. However, probability of getting same success in desert condition is yet to be verified. Our efforts are towards the same.

The farmers were provided five day exhaustive training with help of scientists of ARS and KVK, Bikaner. The methods adopted and topic of lecture provided during Capacity Building and Training Program would justify the intension of NYVAS towards providing a quality capacity building programs.

During the training farmers visited several places like ARS Farm, KVK Farm, Green house farms, Poultry and emu farms and research demonstration on management of salty soils.
